Progress

Letting go isn't necessarily about leaving someone else,
Or about forgetting someone,
Sometimes its about letting go of yourself,
Letting go of all the preconceived notions you have of yourself,
For the first time in your life be yourself,
Breath for once,
Take time to realize what it is you want in life,
Don't forget what it is,
And never sacrifice it for someone else,
If all you do is compromise to make someone else happy,
You're sacrificing your own happiness,
In love you should be equal in everything,
Its a partnership,
You work together,
You should never lose sight of who you are,
Its ok to call it quits and to move on,
You have to follow your passions,
You have to learn to say enough is enough,
Everyone will heal,
Sometimes you just have to take time to realize,
That rather than progressing forward together,
Ya'll are holding each other back,
Letting go is never easy regardless of the situation,
But it can open your eyes to so much.
