Wondering

As I sit here alone,

I wonder,

How my life began,

And why certain things were put into it,

I wonder,

Why do bad things happen,

But also why do good things happen,

I wonder,

What will it be like in the future,

Will I find true love,

I wonder,

Will my life eventually alter,

Or will it remain the same,

I wonder,

Will I ever prosper,

Will I ever be truly satisfied with myself,

But mainly I wonder,

Is there true happiness in this world,

All these questions,

Left unanswered,

But hopefully will be answered one day,

But until then,

I still wonder.
